Employee forced to train his 2 entitled replacements during final weeks after being let go, gets payback on his last day: 'Yeah, I'm not doing that'

The only thing worse than being let go out of nowhere is having to train your replacements during the final weeks in your role. It's not that your replacements shouldn't know what they're doing, but if your company seems to think that you're not worth keeping, then why do you have to be the one to walk the new hires through everything? Could it be that you actually are valuable and they would like you to impart some wisdom before your last day? 

This is the kind of bureaucratic nonsense that usually reveals the inner workings of hiring and firing decisions. For this employee, whose job was to manage complicated batch printing orders at a large organization, he could tell that the people replacing him were both unqualified and incompetent. In fact, it took just one day of training them to figure that out. Clearly, the lack of attention or care to the employee's guidelines demonstrates their collective feeling of being safe in terms of their job security. Let's just say that it seems like they were connected to upper management in some mysterious way.

Still, the employee felt that he had to swallow his pride and train these two in order to get a proper letter of recommendation from upper management following his departure. His manager even took note of the pure incompetence of these two lazy coworkers. These final weeks all culminated in a day in which the employee was meant to sit back and watch his two replacements attempt to run the show without his support. As one might expect, that day did not go well.
